Manatee rescued from crab trap in Brevard County

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — Wildlife officials rescued a manatee from a crab trap in Brevard County on Friday.

Rescuers from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Brevard Zoo and SeaWorld helped free the manatee near Cocoa.

Officials said the manatee was successfully rescued and taken to Jacksonville Zoo for rehabilitation.
