Deputies identify man killed in overnight shooting near Apopka

APOPKA, Fla. — Deputies have identified the man who was killed in a shooting along an Orange County roadway Monday evening.

Investigators said 36-year-old Travis Rashard Grubs was found lying in the intersection of 10th Street and Central Avenue just after 9:30 p.m.

Deputies said Grubs, who had been shot, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators have not said what led up to the shooting or released any suspect information.
