Orlando police identify 18-year-old victim shot, killed in Millenia area

ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando police have identified the victim who was shot and killed in the Millenia area Thursday afternoon.

12:10 p.m. Friday update:

Orlando police identified the person who was shot as 18-year-old Travick J. Ward II.

Police said the investigation into his death is ongoing.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Orlando police detectives at 407-246-2984 or to remain anonymous, dial Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS (8477).

A man was found dead following a shooting in Orlando Thursday afternoon, police said.

Officers responded around 3:10 p.m. to the 5000 block of Millenia Boulevard to a shooting call with a victim, police said. The victim, an adult male, was found dead.

No suspect information was immediately available.

The investigation is active. Police said they will provide updates as they become available.
