Man accused of exposing himself at Seminole County restaurants found incompetent to stand trial

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — Alvaro Pena-Yepes, who is accused of exposing himself to diners at two different Seminole County restaurants, has been found incompetent to stand trial.

Pena-Yepes has been released from jail in the cases, but is required to wear an ankle monitor and is not allowed to leave his home except to go to the doctor.

His wife is responsible for Pena-Yepes part of the time, and he also has a full-time caregiver.

He complained Thursday in court that he would like to be able to go pick up his prescriptions himself, but the judge did not budge on the requirement he not leave his home.

Because he was found to be incompetent, his cases will not be brought before the court again until December.
