WATCH: Trooper uses pit maneuver to stop suspect during chase on Beachline in Orange County

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A wanted suspect led Brevard County deputies on a pursuit to Orange County on Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.

The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office said a person who had an active warrant in another state did not stop when a deputy tried to pull over the driver.

The Florida Highway Patrol said a trooper used a PIT maneuver to stop the fleeing driver on the Beachline near Dallas Boulevard in Orange County’s Wedgefield neighborhood. The person was then taken into custody.

A traffic camera showed at least a dozen deputies and troopers parked along the highway.

No one was injured.
