A local developer bought a key parcel in downtown Maitland for a mixed-use project.

Independence North Land Holding LLC, an entity tied to Winter Park-based developer Strollo Partners, bought 0.67 acres of mostly vacant land off East Horatio Avenue for $1.9 million in a deal that closed Nov. 15, according to Orange County records.

The land was sold by Collison Capital of Winter Park, which previously bought the three-parcel assemblage in 2022 for $899,800, according to county records.
