Magic Kingdom adds new doll in wheelchair to it’s a small world

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — A new doll has been added to an iconic and classic Walt Disney World attraction.

This week, Imagineers added a doll in a wheelchair to it’s a small world in Magic Kingdom, keeping to their promise to update Disney parks and experiences to better reflect the world around us, Disney said in a blog post.

Adding the new doll to it’s a small world builds on the attraction’s longstanding legacy of diverse representation.

Cast members who are part of the ENABLED Business Employee Resource Group, which has a shared passion around accessibility, were among the first group who got to see the new doll on the attraction, Disney said.
