Lynx has proposed new construction near Orlando International Airport’s Terminal C.

The Orlando-based transit organization wants to build a new intermodal bus transfer station at the Intermodal Terminal Facility where Brightline will have its service expand to this year.
Lynx’s board on July 27 approved as part of its concent agenda the request for proposals tied to the design of the facility.
A $510,000 grant from the Florida Department of Transportation Intermodal Development Funding Program will allow Lynx to start design. Per the agenda, construction is expected to exceed $4 million dollars.
