Lookin’ sharp: Dapper Day outings return to Disney World this weekend

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — If you’re at Walt Disney World this weekend, don’t be surprised if you see people trading in their touristy best for slacks, suspenders, dresses and bowties.

Dapper Day outings officially return to Disney World this weekend, celebrating its 10th year.

Though not an “official” Disney event, Dapper Day draws huge crowds of people in their snazzy best, many of them wearing the same color scheme as their favorite Disney characters, known as “Disneybounding.”

The event started at Disneyland before trickling into Central Florida, and now takes place at both parks once in the fall and once in the spring.

Dapper Days takes place Saturday at Epcot, and at Magic Kingdom on Sunday. Park reservations are required. Click here to make a reservation.

Dapper Days is also hosting a pop-up shop through Monday at Disney’s Beach Club Resort that’s open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
