ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Deputies fatally shot a 41-year-old man Friday morning while searching a home in the Union Park neighborhood, Orange County Sheriff John Mina said.
Investigators said at about 8:45 a.m., they were searching the home on Jepson Street near Lake Underhill and Rouse roads when three deputies shot Luis Morales-Camacho.
It is unknown if Morales-Camacho was armed, but he resisted or made some type of movement, Mina said.

Mina said Morales-Camacho was wanted for selling and dealing heroin and cocaine. He said drugs were discovered in the home, $26,000 was seized from Morales-Camacho's bank account and weapons were discovered in a storage unit belonging to him Friday morning.
Morales-Camacho was running a mid- to large-sized drug operation in which he would buy kilos of heroin and cocaine and split them up for runners, Mina said.
Mina said Morales-Camacho, who had a record of six felony drug and gun convictions, had been under investigation for a month.

Mina said investigators have been testing drugs in the home to determine if they are fentanyl.
"Now that we have recovered drugs from inside the house, all of that will be tested," he said. "If we can bring charges against him for overdose deaths in the community, we will do that."
The deputies, whose identities were not publicly disclosed, were uninjured. They have been placed on paid administrative leave while the Florida Department of Law Enforcement investigates the shooting, which is standard protocol.

Investigators said a woman and a child were in the home when Morales-Camacho was killed, but they were uninjured.
Morales-Camacho's mother, brother and other relatives gathered at the home Friday. They declined to comment on the allegations made against him.
"The cops were coming. They (were) banging on the door, and they killed him right away," one of them told Channel 9. "They killed him."
Resident Fernando Moreno said he visited the home Thursday while taking his nieces and nephews trick-or-treating.
"We went to that house. The wife gave us candy," he said. "It's pretty crazy just to think that there is a drug trafficker living next door."
Moreno said he will throw away the candy.
