Give Kids the World announced Wednesday that it will discontinue hosting Night of a Million Lights at its Village in order“to remain focused on our mission to create life-changing experiences for wish families.”
The decision comes as Give Kids the World has resumed operating at full capacity again since the COVID-19 pandemic shutdown.
Night of a Million Lights started in 2020 and became the nonprofit’s largest fundraiser of the year. For the last two years, the Village was transformed into a twinkling, glowing, dazzling winter wonderland for several weeks during the holiday season, drawing thousands of spectators.
The 89-acre, whimsical nonprofit resort provides critically ill children and their families from around the world with magical weeklong wish vacations at no cost.
