The barcade, which will infuse elements of a bar and arcade, will open at 25 W. Church St., the former home of Schumann’s Jager Haus.

The owners told Channel 9 it will be an “80s/90s themed barcade,” and will be a “refreshing new space full of new exciting things as well as some of your old favorites.”

The new barcade will fill a void left after Joysticks closed in 2020, which the owners of 1 Up also managed. Their other bar, Cocktails and Screams, a year-round Halloween bar on Pine Street, is still open.
