Flying School, original Cypress Gardens attraction, to permanently close at Legoland

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. — This is your last call for boarding.

Legoland Florida’s Flying School roller coaster, one of the original Cypress Gardens Adventure Park’s original attractions, will permanently close on Aug. 16.

The closure will make room for “future awesomeness,” Legoland said.

Flying School is an inverted steel coaster that take guests on a flight into the Legoland skies, according to a news release.

It’s final day of operations coincides with National Roller Coaster Day.
