LAKE COUNTY, Fla. — People in the hospitality industry still struggling with unemployment now have a remarkable new resource.
The Cast Co-Op is set to launch in Clermont Saturday at noon. It was created by Disney cast members as a first-of-its-kind, multifaceted resource to help furloughed and laid-off workers.

The joint venture comes from three nonprofit groups created last year to help out-of-work Disney cast members.
It is mostly run by cast members who wanted to find the perfect spot to provide necessities, including an entire section of pet products, for those in need.
