2 killed in crash involving semi-truck on US-27 in Lake County

LAKE COUNTY, Fla. — Two people were killed in a crash on US-27 in Lake County Thursday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers said the crash happened around 5:20 a.m. near Frank Jarrell Road.

The crash involved a semi-truck and four other cars.

It is not known how many people were injured in the crash.

The northbound lanes of US-27 were blocked due to the crash.
