Lake Co. looks to cut bus routes to save money

LAKE COUNTY, Fla. — Tight budgets in Lake County could cost some residents their bus rides.

Officials said they may end the Lynx route from Four Corners to the Disney area and cut back on the number of rides from Clermont to Orlando.

County leaders said the move could save more than $70,000 next year.

If the county follows through, they would have to give riders 120 days notice.
