ORLANDO, Fla. — In a follow-up to our recent story about its announcement, KFC hosted its official launch party for its spin-off restaurant, Saucy!

Channel 9 was invited to the event to see all the festivities and learn more about how Saucy’s creator came up with the idea!

We spoke to KFC’s Chief New Concept Officer, Christophe Poirier, who gave us a brief glimpse into what he hopes the new spin-off brand can become.

We wanted to create a second place away from home where you can come and hangout... We deliver an experience because I feel that food taste better when you’re in a place with a vibe...

The restaurant, located at 502 S. Alafaya Trail, opens to the public on Friday, December 20.
