ORLANDO, Fla. — Friday night’s varsity football game between Jones High School and Edgewater High School has been postponed because of electrical issues affecting the field lighting at Jones High School.
According to Orange County Public Schools, the game has been rescheduled for Monday, Oct. 12, at 6 p.m. at Jones High School.
District officials said facilities crews are working to complete the necessary repairs.
“The safety of students, staff, and guests remains the district’s top priority,” OCPS said in a statement.
School officials thanked the community for its understanding and support as repairs are made.
