The Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine is no longer available in the United States.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says all remaining doses expired last week.

More than 31 million doses of the J&J vaccine were sent out for distribution.

However, only 19 million people got it, leaving more than 12 million doses unused.

Most people got vaccines from Pfizer and Moderna.
