ORLANDO, Fla. — Taco Bell fans, rejoice. After a two-year absence, the Mexican Pizza returns to menus this month.

The fast-food giant removed the item from its menu in 2020 as a cost-cutting measure during the pandemic.
In the months since the Mexican Pizza’s removal, customers have asked for its return.

An online petition begging for its return garnered over 200,000 signatures.
Originally introduced as the “Pizzazz Pizza” in 1985, the Mexican Pizza consists of two tortillas filled with either beans or ground beef, sauce, cheese, and chopped tomatoes.

Fans will be able to order the Mexican Pizza beginning May 19.
