It's been almost two days since investigators say two masked walked into an Orange County doctor's clinic and shot him in front of patients.

Investigators are having a hard time finding the evidence needed to help catch the gunmen.

The community is still in shock following the shooting.

A surveillance camera that's pointed right at the front door recorded nothing.

Orange County detectives said on Thursday that they do not have any surveillance images of the two masked men who stormed into the Pine Hills doctor’s office and shot physician Dr. Ashok Khanna after he turned over the cash to them.

Patients said Khanna was dedicated to the Pine Hills neighborhood.

So far, investigators have not even been able to release a detailed description of the two men even though they said there were two adults and a child inside watching the robbery go down.

None of the witnesses were injured, but Khanna was shot in the leg.

His family is not commenting about the crime.

Khanna underwent surgery on Wednesday, but it's unclear if he's still at Orlando Regional Medical Center.

According to the Orange County Sheriff's Office, robberies in the area are down almost 25 percent since last year.

But some patients have suggested Khanna move out of the area for his safety.
