Illnesses reported on cruise ships hit 12-year high, report shows

ORLANDO, Fla. — The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says reported illnesses on cruise ships have hit a 12-year high.

Data shows there were outbreaks on 16 different cruise ships last year.

Most of those were norovirus cases.

More than 2,000 passengers and crew members got sick.
