ORLANDO, Fla. — Police have reopened all of the westbound lanes of I-4 in Orlando after two people were killed in a wrong-way crash early Saturday morning.
The crash happened shortly before 6 a.m. in the westbound lanes of I-4 at Princeton Street, police said.
Five vehicles were involved in the crash, one of which was driving eastbound in the westbound lanes of the highway, according to investigators.
Police said two people were pronounced dead at the scene. Another two were taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The victims' identities haven't been released.
The westbound lanes were closed for several hours while officers investigated the crash, but highway reopened shortly before noon. The closure caused westbound traffic to backup for several miles.
