Intruders shoot man, 20, to death at Orlando apartment complex

ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando police have released the name of a man shot and killed Tuesday afternoon on the city’s east side.

Julian Burgeson, 20, died following a home invasion at his residence along Folkstone Lane, police said.

Officers responded to an apartment at the Canopy Villas near Curry Ford Road and Semoran Boulevard just after 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Inside they found Burgeson, suffering from a gunshot wound.

They rushed him to nearby AdventHealth East Hospital, but Burgeson did not survive.

Police said they are still searching for a suspect in the case, and they could use help from the community.
