Growth isn’t expected to slow down in Osceola County anytime soon.

The county’s number of residents grew from 268,685 in 2010 to 388,656 in 2020, according to the U.S. Census — and the population is expected to double in size by 2040.

That’s why officials have spent a lot of time planning how to address that growth, said Assistant County Manager Amanda Clavijo a panelist at Orlando Business Journal’s March 7 Doing Business in Osceola County event at Osceola Heritage Park. The event focused on how to get growth done right in the county.
