Here comes Santa Claus: Visits with Santa, Mrs. Claus return to Central Florida

T’was December 2020 and all through the month, a screen was the only way you could visit Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus.

The virtual visits were one of the ways the holiday tradition was adjusted while trying to keep the magic of the season alive.

But this year, the first family of the North Pole is back in Central Florida, spreading holiday cheer in person.

Mr. and Mrs. Claus are good friends with Cami Miller and Mark Miller, two actors from Central Florida who helped transport their cottage to Lake Nona this year for the Oh, What Fun Festival.

Like many of the changes forced by the pandemic, virtual visits are also back, and probably here to stay. Thanks to elf technology, Mr. and Mrs. Claus is connecting with children across the globe.

“We’ve really had the privilege to visit children from all over the world,” Mrs. Claus said. “It’s been an honor. We’ve visited children in England and Germany and Scotland.”

Mrs. Claus has continued her new tradition of going live on the 25th of every month, encouraging others to spread good cheer year-round.
