ORLANDO, Fla. — Tuesday will be an even steamier and hotter day in Central Florida.
A heat advisory has been issued for the entire Channel 9 viewing area.
This advisory will be in effect from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Afternoon highs reach the low to mid 90s, but heat index values will climb between 100°-110°, creating sweltering conditions, according to meteorologist Kassandra Crimi.
Be mindful of the extreme heat. Crimi said it will last most of the week, as afternoon highs continue to reach the mid 90s and heat index values top the 100° mark.
Rain chances will be limited on Tuesday, with only a 30% chance for isolated showers & storms.
