HCA Healthcare Inc. has broken ground on a new $15.5 million emergency room in St. Cloud.

The Nashville, Tennessee-based for-profit health system broke ground on the 11,000-square-foot HCA Florida Osceola East Emergency on May 9.
The new emergency room being built at 4920 E. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway in St. Cloud is expected to reach 100,000 residents.
