ORLANDO, Fla. — I-4 Express turns 1 year old this weekend, and to celebrate the Florida Department of Transportation is offering a day of free tolls on Sunday.
On a normal day, I-4 Express operates at fixed rate of 50 cents per trip, with a trip on all 21 miles of of the express lanes costing $3.50 eastbound and $3 westbound.

Transportation officials said drivers made 12.7 million trips in on I-4 Express in the first year.
They said use of I-4 Express has grown every month since the lanes opened on February 26, 2022.
