ORLANDO, Fla. — Crews are finally expected to start removing unstable scaffolding in downtown Orlando on Thursday.
The issue with the scaffolding on a building on Orange Avenue has shut down roads in the area for more than a week.

More than two dozen businesses in the area have been closed, but Mayor Buddy Dyer says some of those affected businesses on Church Street will be able to open while that scaffolding comes down.
Contractors said it should take about a week to remove the scaffolding.
