Gradually warmer before a major drop in temperatures this week

ORLANDO, Fla. — Central Florida has a roller coaster weather week ahead.

Temperatures will be warming through Tuesday with high pressure in control.

We will be mild on Monday, with highs in the upper 70s. Highs will be in the low 80s on Tuesday.

Rain and scattered thunderstorms will arrive Wednesday as a strong cold front moves through our area.

The front will bring a major drop in temperature on Thursday and cooler days for the second half of the week.

Following the front will be another quick dose of winter weather with morning lows back in the 30s and 40s.
