TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Gov. Ron DeSantis is set to hold a second news conference Wednesday after Hurricane Idalia made landfall in North Florida.

DeSantis already spoke from the Florida Emergency Operations Center in Tallahassee around 6:30 a.m., just before Idalia made landfall near Keaton Beach in Taylor County.

Joining the governor for his second news conference Wednesday will be Florida Division of Emergency Management Director Kevin Guthrie, Major General John D. Haas, and Florida Department of Transportation Secretary Jared Perdue.
