The Cheesecake Factory will soon debut this new cheesecake; would you try it?

ORLANDO, Fla. — In celebration of National Cheesecake Day, The Cheesecake Factory is debuting a new cheesecake July 30.

The Classic Basque Cheesecake was created in San Sebastian, Spain, more than 30 years ago.

“It’s a completely different style of cheesecake than my mother’s original recipe, and we are looking forward to adding it to our menu,” said David Overton, the restaurant chain’s founder and CEO.

The recipe includes a caramel flavor and a custard center.

For every slice of cheesecake sold on July 30, $1 will be donated to Feeding America.

For every slice of the new flavor sold from July 31 through the next year, the company will donate 25 cents to Feeding America.
