Gator bites off part of man’s leg near Titusville

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — An alligator attacked a 72-year-old man Friday afternoon near Titusville, Brevard County Government said.

The gator bit off the man’s right leg below his knee at Windsong Way near State Road 50 and Interstate 95.

The man will be flown to a hospital.
