FWC, Brevard County deputies investigate deadly boating accident on St. Johns River

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is investigating a deadly boating accident in Brevard County.

FWC agents said the deadly boat crash happened on the St. Johns River, not far from the Lone Cabbage fish camp near State Road 520.

FWC is working with the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office to investigate what led to the crash.

Brevard County deputies confirmed one person died in the crash but the identity of the victim has not been released.

So far, it is unknown what caused the accident, officials said.
