Cold front moving in, coldest air of the season on the way

ORLANDO, Fla. — 5 p.m. Update:

What is left of Saturday’s showers is over Brevard County and will soon move off the coast, leaving us dry for tonight.

The latest cold front is moving through right now.

This is going to draw in some of the coldest air of the season with 40s and 50s over the next couple of mornings.

Also, behind this front is a frost advisory for parts of the western Florida Panhandle, and much of Alabama and parts of Mississippi and Georgia are under a freeze warning tonight.

It’s a foggy start to Saturday, with dense fog advisories in place for most of Central Florida through 9 a.m.

Once the fog lifts, we’ll have mostly cloudy skies with mild temperatures.

Highs on Saturday will reach the upper 70s and low 80s.

Another front will sweep across the area Saturday afternoon.

Scattered showers and a few isolated storms will be possible this afternoon.

The skies will clear and cool down Saturday night, with temps dipping into the 40s and 50s.
