CENTRAL FLORIDA — Rain will linger for much of Central Florida Friday evening after a strong line of afternoon storms moved across the region.
Channel 9 certified chief meteorologist Tom Terry has been tracking the showers and strong storms that moved in from the west. For a time, the line of storms sparked tornado warnings for parts of Orange, Lake, Sumter and Polk counties. Those tornado warnings have since expired.
