First Responders Day: These restaurants are serving free food to first responders today

First Responders First Responders (Firehouse Subs/Firehouse Subs)

ORLANDO, Fla. — In honor of National First Responders Day today, a variety of different restaurants are offering free food to celebrate.

Food chains celebrating include Firehouse Subs, Krispy Kreme, Hooters and more.

A valid ID or uniform will be required.

Firehouse Subs

All Firehouse Subs restaurants are inviting all Orlando area firefighters, police officers, paramedics and EMTs to enjoy a free medium sub with any purchase.

A portion of every purchase at every restaurant will go toward the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation, which has awarded over $1.6 million in the greater Orlando area.

Hooters

Hooters will be offering all first responders 10 free boneless wings with the purchase of any 10 wings for dine-in.

Krispy Kreme

Krispy Kreme stores will be offering a free treat of an Original Glazed doughnut and brewed coffee, either hot or iced.

Macaroni Grill

The restaurant will be offering free Mom’s Ricotta Meatballs and Spaghetti all throughout the month of October for first responders who dine in.

Insomnia Cookies

Insomnia Cookies is celebrating this year by offering all first responders a six-pack of cookies with any $5 in-store purchase.

There’s a limit of one per customer and availability varies by location.
