Florida reports record-breaking 11,458 new COVID-19 cases, Orange County sees more than 1K new cases

ORLANDO, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health reported more than 11,000 new COVID-19 cases Saturday as well as 18 deaths.

The state set a new daily case record with 11,458. There are now 3,702 coronavirus-related deaths in the state.

The new coronavirus-related deaths include two in Central Florida: one in Brevard County and one in Osceola County.

Orange County saw more than 1,000 new COVID-19 cases in 24 hours.
