Florida reports 92 deaths linked to COVID-19, more than 10K new coronavirus cases since yesterday

ORLANDO, Fla. — State health officials reported another 10,347 positive COVID-19 tests Monday, pushing the total number of coronavirus cases past 360,000 since the pandemic began.

The Florida Department of Health also recorded an additional 92 deaths related to the virus, raising the death toll to 5,183.

Since COVID-19 testing began earlier this year, the state has recorded 2,691,712 negative test results and reports there have been 21,263 hospitalizations.

Of the 92 deaths reported Monday, nine were linked to Central Florida counties, including three in Volusia County, two each in Seminole and Polk counties and one each in Lake and Marion counties.
