Florida lawmakers continue special session after opening day drama

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — A special session continued Tuesday in Tallahassee as lawmakers dealt with immigration and other major issues.

The session started Monday but ended quickly after some unexpected issues.

Legislators rejected Gov. Ron DeSantis’ plan and called their own session.
