ORLANDO, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health reported that nearly 2 million COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in the state.
Records show 1,993,472 COVID-19 vaccine shots have been administered since they became available in the state.

People at locations across the state received 45,324 more vaccines since Saturday, including 17,746 people who received their second dose.
State health officials reported 7,788 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, one of the lowest totals for a single day in several weeks.
Of the new cases reported, 1,692 were in Central Florida. Orange County reported the most cases with 440.
According the state records, 1,721,377 COVID-19 cases have been recorded in Florida since the start of the pandemic.

Health officials also reported 120 new virus-related deaths on Sunday, including one person who was not a Florida resident.
Of the new deaths reported, 19 were in Central Florida. Marion County reported 13 new COVID-19 deaths in the last 24 hours.
According the state records, 26,915 people have died in Florida from COVID-19 complications since the start of the pandemic.
