Overnight, the state’s gas prices shot up again, AAA said Thursday.

A 13-cent spike pushed Florida’s average price for a gallon of gas to $4.34, compared to $4.21 just a day earlier.

Not only was another record set for the highest ever price of gas in Florida, the Sunshine State also surpassed the national average of $4.31 per gallon.

To give perspective on what you’ll pay Thursday versus a week, a month or a year ago in Florida, take a look at this data from AAA:
On average, a fill-up Thursday will cost the Florida driver $1.51 more per gallon for Regular Unleaded gas than it did a year ago.
