HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. — A Hillsborough County deputy has been reunited with the baby girl he helped deliver off the side of a highway.

Channel 9 shared body camera video of the deputy in action earlier this month.

After master deputy Daniel “Red” Jones came across a couple on the side of the road, the woman then gave birth right there in the front seat of the car.
“Most of the time we get involved with something and we don’t get a chance to know what happened. This completes the story for me,” Jones said.

This Jones’ third time helping someone deliver a baby.
