Florida among states with most financially distressed residents during pandemic, says study

Florida is among the states with the most financially distressed people in the U.S.

WalletHub found in an analysis of all 50 states and Washington, DC, that Florida ranks as the No. 5 worst state when looking at the most residents who have been hurt financially during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The four worst states for having he most financially distressed residents during the pandemic were:

  • Louisiana
  • Nevada
  • Indiana
  • Oklahoma

On the flip side, the states with the least amount of financially distressed residents were.

  • Vermont, No. 51
  • Montana, No. 50
  • Massachusetts, No. 49
  • Alaska, No. 48
  • New Hampshire, No. 47
