‘I just got shot’: 911 calls reveal chaotic moments following I-95 shooting

FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. — Newly released 911 calls reveal chaotic moments after a shooting along I-95 in Flagler County Saturday evening.

In the call you can hear the victim shouting to an emergency operator frantically that he had just been shot.

“911, 911 I just got shot, I just got shot!” the victim said.

According to a sheriff’s report, when deputies responded to the area of Matanzas Woods Parkway and Old Kings Road they found a man in a Dodge Challenger with gunshot wounds to the arm and leg.

The victim told deputies he and another passenger had just left Ormond Beach after taking part in Bike Week festivities when a group of motorcycles surrounded their car.

Deputies then said at some point shots were fired into the victims’ car, hitting the driver several times.

After being treated by deputies first on the scene, the driver was taken to Halifax Hospital.

A passenger in the car, who was not injured, told investigators that the driver had possibly “cut the bikers off.”
