About 90% of the man’s remains were found July 18 at the Toscana community on Old Kings Road.

Deputies said FCSO’s Cold Case Unit and Dr. Erin Kimmerle’s team from the Florida Institute of Forensic Anthropology & Applied Science at USF determined the remains were of an African-American or mixed-race male between the ages of 35 and 50.

The computer-generated images show the man’s face with and without facial hair.

Investigators said they have not ruled out foul play or determined the cause of death or exactly when the man died, but they have determined that he does not match any missing persons reported to FCSO.
