FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. — A 57-year-old Bunnell man was killed early Saturday in a single-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 1 in Flagler County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash happened around 12:04 a.m. near Education Way.
Troopers said the man was driving south when his pickup truck drifted into the center median and a ditch. The truck then swerved back onto the roadway, rotated clockwise, crossed both southbound lanes and ran off the road onto the grass shoulder.
The driver’s side of the pickup struck a tree, and the truck came to rest facing northbound, FHP said.
