FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. — A Flagler County man won $1 million playing a Florida Lottery scratch-off game.

Maher Nameh, 39, of Palm Coast, claimed a $1 million prize from the $1,000,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE SPECTACULAR Scratch-Off game at the Lottery’s Jacksonville District Office on Friday.

Officials said he chose to get his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000.

Nameh bought his ticket from J Discount, located at 1041 N. US Highway 1 in Ormond Beach. The store will get a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
