Berryhill said Brooks worked as both a volunteer firefighter and for emergency services in Utah for more than 20 years. Berryhill said Brooks’s condition has improved. While his injuries are still critical, he is stable.
Berryhill called the situation a tragic accident, saying the driver was simply blinded by the sun. But he’s asking drivers everywhere to slow down and stay alert.
